We hosted a 2-hour executive workshop, AI Adoption Framework for Scaling Businesses, for a room of Toronto CEOs, COOs, and founders. The session, led by Purna Web's Orillia-based AI consultant and ISO/IEC 42001 Certified Lead Implementer, Hridin Chandrasekharan, turned the usual AI hype into a structured, governable plan, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
During Toronto Tech Week, founders and executives are spoiled for choice, and most AI sessions promise more than they deliver. Ours was built to do the opposite: send every leader in the room back to work with a concrete way to adopt AI that's practical, governed, and human-centered.
The room filled with exactly the people the session was designed for, CEOs, COOs, owners, and leadership teams from growing organizations who are past the "should we use AI?" stage and stuck on "how do we actually roll it out without creating a mess?" Over two hours, with lunch and an open Q&A, Purna Web's team walked them through the answer.
What set the session apart was the governance lens. While most AI talks stop at use cases, this one tied every recommendation back to ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for managing AI responsibly, so leaders left understanding not just where to apply AI, but how to keep it accountable as they scale.
Instead of another "here's a new AI app" pitch, the room worked through a structured way to find where AI actually creates impact, and how to move from a pilot to a scaled rollout.
Every part of the framework was tied back to governance: how to adopt AI responsibly, keep humans in the loop, and document it to a standard enterprise buyers and regulators already recognize.
Hridin walked leaders through how modern AI agents are actually wired together, so the room could tell a real, governable system apart from a fragile demo.
Guided exercises, real case studies, and open Q&A meant founders left with the start of a customized AI adoption roadmap, not just notes.
The workshop was led by Hridin Chandrasekharan, Purna Web's AI & IT consultant, based in Orillia, Ontario. Hridin is an ISO/IEC 42001 Certified AI Lead Implementer, which means the framework he presented isn't theory, it's the same governed approach Purna Web uses to design and ship AI automation for clients. That combination, hands-on engineering depth plus formal AI-governance credentials, is rare, and it's exactly why the room trusted the guidance.
Hridin co-hosted alongside Purna Web founder Namitha Hridin and the wider Purna Web team, who ran the guided exercises and the one-on-one conversations over lunch.
“Finally a session that didn't just hype AI. We left with an actual plan for where to start and, just as importantly, how to keep it governed.”
“Hridin clearly knows the engineering side, but he explained it in language a CEO can act on. The ISO 42001 angle was the part nobody else is talking about.”
“Worth the trip. The framework gave our leadership team a shared language for AI decisions we'd been arguing about for months.”
“Practical, well-run, and genuinely useful. The case studies made it concrete, and lunch and the Q&A were a great chance to compare notes with other founders.”
We run the AI Adoption Framework as a private session for leadership teams, and we implement it, governed to ISO/IEC 42001, as a working AI system afterward. If you missed Toronto, let's talk.
